Our research summary
The Acer Aspire Go 15 is the standout budget pick for 2026. The 8-core Intel i3-N305 handles browsing, Office, streaming, and online classes smoothly, and the Full HD IPS panel is a genuine step up from the cheaper HD screens you'll find at this price.
The main compromise is the 128GB of storage - fine if you lean on Google Drive or OneDrive, but worth pairing with a microSD card if you store a lot locally. It arrives in Windows S Mode, which you can switch to full Windows 11 for free in a couple of clicks. For most students and home users in the UAE, this is the safest, best-value choice.
Why we picked this
"The best all-round value under 1500 AED. Ideal for students and home users who want a sharp Full HD IPS screen and a capable 8-core processor without overspending."
Key Features
- Full HD IPS display
- 8-core efficiency CPU
- Copilot key
- lightweight
- Wi-Fi 6
Limitations to know
"A few users note the touchpad can occasionally stick, and the 128GB storage fills up fast if you don't use cloud or a microSD card. "
